La Providencia has been in the Palacios Family since the 1950’s having been passed down through three generations. Today it is owned by Max Ariel who has run the farm since 1975. It is 220hectars in size and with a steep and irregular topography harvesting can be quite difficult for the 700 or so seasonal
workers who pick the coffee by hand.
